In this paper, we present a cartography of streamflow in Corsica, a French Mediterranean Island of 8,680 Km(2) based on two streamflow characteristics: the mean annual streamflow, which is generally used in order to quantify the mean flow of a given river and the minimum monthly discharge with a 5-year return period (Q(MNA5)), which is one of the main regulatory estimates for low flows in France. These two streamflow characteristics have been estimated over each point of the Corsican river network using two different models defined over France and adapted for Corsica. These models use a hydro-climatic database of 20 gauged catchments with recent and good quality hydro-climatic series. The final maps are available on the Eaufrance website (http://www.eaufrance.fr/) . This work also provides a general quantification of water resources of Corsica, which is a productive region compared to the other large French watersheds, since 50% of the precipitated water in Corsica are flowing into the rivers (in comparison, 30% of the precipitated water are flowing into the rivers of the Artois-Picardie and Seine-Normandie catchments).
