英文摘要 | The relative contribution of orographic features, land surface heterogeneities and heterogeneities in the aerosol field on cloud formation and subsequent precipitation will be studied. Convection-permitting simulations will be performed for several convective cases over Germany using an advanced two-moment microphysical parameterization. Sensitivity runs with modified orography, surface properties and aerosol load will identify which parameter or process is important in a specific meteorological situation and why. |
