英文摘要The recipient will install permanent monitoring stations within the Adirondack Park, train and engage volunteers in a citizen science monitoring program to collect data at these locations, and update the NYSAPA geographic information system database to store, array and analyze data. Citizen scientist teams will collect environmental measures to assist the recipient in evaluating the influence of climate on wetlands within the Park. The recipient will use this information to guide and revise its regulatory and permit program and wetland protection in light of influences from climate change.
