英文摘要 | Globalchangescenariosareinvaluabletoguidelong-termstrategicpolicies,promptmanagementactionsandincreasepublicawarenessoffuturetrendsinbiodiversity.Althoughthedegreeofrealismofscenariosandmarineecosystemmodelsdevelopedinsupportofanecosystemapproachtofisherieshasgreatlyimproved,inmostcases,theDarwinianevolutionoffishpopulationsisstillneglectedinfutureprojections.Evidenceindicatesthatpopulationsadapttoglobalchange,eitherviaphenotypicplasticityorgeneticprocesses,leadingtomodificationsintheirlife-historyandphysiology.Suchadaptationcanmitigatetheimpactsofglobalchangeonfishpopulationsandpreventtheirextirpation,anevolutionaryrescue,butitcanalsopushthemtowardsevolutionarytrapsduetotheerosionoftheirgeneticdiversityandthusreductionoftheirevolutionarypotentialandresilience.SOMBEEaddressestheroleofeco-evolutionarydynamicsandtheirconsequencesforthesustainableexploitationoffishresourcesinthefuture.Tothisend,wewillbuildandtestscenariosofthecombinedpressureoffishingandclimatechangeonbothintra-andinter-specificmarinebiodiversity,byexplicitlymodellingthephenotypicplasticityoffishlife-historytraits,theirselectionandadaptiveevolution,andtheirgeneticdriftformultipleinteractingspecies.Theobjectivesareto:i)developacuttingedgeevolutionaryecosystemmodelwithprimaryfocusonfish;ii)applyittoasetof6contrastingecosystemstobetterunderstandtheselectivepressuresexertedbyfishingandclimatechange;iii)projectfuturechangesinintra-andinter-specificbiodiversityandrelatedfishingproductionandeconomicprofitundercombinedclimateandfishingscenariosandiv)quantifythesynergisticandantagonisticecological,evolutionaryandeconomicimpactsofthesedrivers.SOMBEEwilladvanceknowledgeonthecapacityoffishcommunitiestoadapttoglobalchangeandourabilitytoforecasttheirpersistenceandthefuturesustainabilityoffisheriesandfoodproduction. |
