HPAC model studies of selected Jack Rabbit II (JRII) releases and comparisons to test data

英文摘要Chlorine transport and dispersion (T&D) modeling using the Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) software suite was performed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Technical Reachback Division to generate concentration plumes as a function of time using the Jack Rabbit II (JRII) test series releases for Trials 1, 6, and 7. The results of the concentration time-histories and spatial location with respect to the JRII sensor arcs and pre-defined common modeling parameters are presented here in order to facilitate a model inter-comparison with other T&D modeling groups. Also, results of sensitivity studies and quantification of performance using different weather sets are presented here with the goal of identifying significant stressors in the context of an operationally relevant (real-world) framework. © 2020 Elsevier Ltd
