中文摘要【中文摘要】群体由院士、杰青、百人计划及国家项目首席组成,形成了在国际上有影响的团队。近几年围绕冰冻圈与全球变化,构建了国际上较完善、内容全面的区域冰冻圈监测网,被WMO推荐为全球冰冻圈观测计划全球基准。通过对典型冰川的剖析,揭示出大陆型冰川响应气候变化的物质平衡、动力和雪-冰演化过程。发展出基于遥感、地理信息系统、探地雷达与频域反射仪综合获取冰冻圈信息的自动演算或提取方法,揭示了西部冰冻圈变化的时空分异特征,给出了多年冻土退化引起地下冰融化量的最新评估。发展了以水量平衡为基础的冰川径流估算方法,初步认识了冰川变化对水资源的影响;在南极Dome A 获取了迄今最大的冰-气异时差,为揭示轨道尺度气候变化规律提供契机。未来将加强冰冻圈变化对气候和生态的影响研究。2005 年以来发表论文517 篇,获国家技术进步二等奖1项。成果入选十一五国家重大科技成就展,获国家科技计划执行优秀团队奖和突出贡献奖。【英文摘要】This research group, comprising of academician, outstanding young scientists and the chief scientists of Chinese national research projects, is a multidisciplinary team which is famous in the world. In recent years, the group focused on cryosphere and global change, and established a cryosphere monitoring network in west China, which is recommended as a monitoring standard of “Global Cryosphere Watch” by WMO. Based on the comprehensive observations, the response processes of glacier mass balance, glacier dynamic and snow-ice transformation to climate change were clarified. The group developed a new method automatically extracting the information of cryospheric components and their variations on the basis of RS, GIS, GPR, etc. With the new method, the spatial and temporal variations of cryosphere in west China were revealed, and the thawing amount of ground ice in the permafrost over the Tibetan Plateau was estimated. The group also established a new method assessing glacier melt runoff on the principle of water balance, and evaluated the impact of the changes in glaciers in west China on the water resources. Moreover, it was found that there is a largest ice age-gas age difference in the Dome A in the Antarctica. Since 2005, the group has published 517 papers, awarded a Chinese National Prize for Sciences and Technology, and granted an Outstanding Team of National Research Project. In the future, the group will focus on the impacts of changing cryosphere on climate and ecosystem.
