英文摘要Increasing carbon dioxide emissions caused by the fossil fuels have stimulated global warming leading to grave environmental concerns. To replace the energy generated from conventional resources, non-conventional power-generation systems can be used. For grid applications, multilevel inverters require a high input voltage that covers the grid peak voltage. Therefore, a large number of series-connected PV modules are used to generate the required high voltage. This lots of series-connected PV module configurations have several drawbacks like poor MPPT performance. For this reason, boost converter is essential for the interfacing of a grid-connected inverter that provides reliable AC power to the grid. Soft-switched boost converter exhibits high gain, high efficiency of 96.84% and low voltage stress compared to other boost converter topologies. A multilevel inverter of triple voltage gain with soft-switched boost converter is proposed. This paper presents the design, simulation and various analysis of proposed converter, inverter and the entire system. © 2020 IEEE.
