Shape-controlled synthesis of ZnS nanocrystals by a chemical precipitation

英文摘要A facile approach to synthesize ZnS nano particles, nanorods and nanosheets stabilized by OP-10 in the mixed solvents of dimethylformamide and water was reported. Different morphology of the nanoparticles could be realized by changing the quantity of OP-10 and the refluxing time. The as-synthesized ZnS nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, photoluminescence and the UV-visible absorption spectra. The possible mechanism for the formation of morphology diversity was described.
