英文摘要	In the version of this Letter originally published, an accidental truncation of the colour scale at –4 °C in Fig. 1a resulted in regions with climate connectivity values less than –4 °C being greyed out. The colour scale has now been shifted, to the limits of –6 to +6 °C, to reflect the true bounds of the data; this has resulted in an overall shift of the colours of the maps but does not affect the underlying data. Some regions of the Oceania map in Fig. 1b were also greyed out due a formatting issue when generating the maps; this only affected generation of the map and did not affect the data used in the analysis. Figure 1 has now been amended in all online versions, and the corrected version is shown below. (Figure presented.). © 2019, Springer Nature Limited.
