Impact of dynamics of air temperature and snow cover thickness on the ground freezing

英文摘要An estimate of influence of the dynamics of extreme air temperature and snow cover thickness on the ground freezing has been given. The fulfilled model calculations have demonstrated that the different dynamics of snow cover thickness and air temperature gives the difference in the depth of frost penetration over 50 %. The maps of the dynamics of extreme air temperature and snow cover thickness have been worked out.
