英文摘要	The aim of the paper is theoretical and empirical substantiation for a new model of developing the morphological pattern for thermokarst lacustrine plains taking into account the climatic changes. The model is based on the approach of the mathematical morphology of landscape, using the random process theory. The researches have resulted in the mathematical model for the morphological pattern of uniform thermokarst lake plains changing under climatic changes in case of isometric lakes. It has been demonstrated analytically that under the climatic changes the distribution of thermokarst lake areas should obey the lognormal distribution at any time, and their spatial distribution should obey the Poisson distribution for the different physiography and permafrost conditions. These conclusions agree with empirical testing of key areas with different physiography, geology and permafrost conditions.
