英文摘要	The theoretical study of the interconnected processes of the internal heat and mass transfer and external heat exchange in the vertical cooling device (named as thermostabilizer or Long's tube), which is used in the building on permafrost, has been carried out. It has been demonstrated that increasing in the device efficiency by its finning is limited by the thermal resistance of the condensate film on the internal surface of its case. The finning efficiency essentially depends on the specific cooling agency and is limited minimally for ammonia. The assessment of the maximum length of device evaporator has been fulfilled. Zero thickness of the condensate film in the evaporator is the basis of this assessment. The basic boundary condition on the external wall of the evaporator wall has been established. This condition allows solving a lot of tasks for computation the temperature fields in frozen ground in the base of the constructions, when thermostabilizers are used. The ways of the increasing the device efficiency have been discussed.
