英文摘要	Field and laboratory studies of the composition, structure and properties have been carried out for frozen and thawed soils on the western coast of Baydaratskaya Bay. The freezing point temperature, the unfrozen water content, the thermal and mechanical properties of soils with different grain-size distribution have been analyzed depending on the water content, density, salinity, organic content and temperature of the soil. Results of comparing of obtained soil parameters depth-wise the boreholes are summarized.
